This place is in a convenient location, has loads of rooms, staff was nice - but the place seemed pretty run down. The landscaping outside was mainly fake flowers. The hedges were overgrown and encroached on the waking paths. Well established crab grass was in all of the flower beds. The outside of the building was well maintained, but I had to avoid one of two stairways as a sizeable hornets nest was above the entrance of the stairway on the days we were here. The carpeting felt dirty, the room smelled a bit and the flooring had several dips in it. Maybe the carpeting was either lain over somewhat deteriorated flooring, or the padding was missing in chunks? One lamp didn't have a bulb, the bathroom light would turn off randomly (thankfully for only a brief moment) and the drains weren't draining so well. They have to pills, nice seating areas outside and the beds were comfortable enough for a night's sleep - so if you're desperate and need a room, this place is a spot to lay your head.

My husband and I were travelling from the Boston are to Maine and needed a place to stop for the night. We were so pleased with this place. It was conveniently located. The room was clean and comfortable. I appreciated all the perks in the room. The shower was wonderful and the water was not too hot or too cold. There was an adequate amount of towels in the room for both of us to shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had a GREAT nights sleep. We both at the continental breakfast and I was pleased with the selection that was provided. I was not there at a time to enjoy the pools. But my husband and I are planning to travel back again and spend some time here with our children. The price for the room was fantastic and exactly what we were looking for. I cannot say enough about the courteous and friendly staff. I had a WONDERFUL conversation with the breakfast attendant while I ate.

Since new ownership won't tell you and won't correct their description then I will. FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NO LONGER THERE BUT ARE STILL IN DESCRIPTION AND THE PICTURES ARE STILL UP- TRAIN IN SUMMARY, GONE!SWAN PADDLE BOATS, GONE! PETTING ZOO,GONE!4 BOUNCE HOUSES,GONE! FERRIS WHEEL GONE!

Pools are still there. It's a good drive from the beach and without the other attractions it's not worth the stay. Rooms are now dated and need repair plus dirty. Was an amazing place now tour average sub par motel. They leave all the old stuff in the summary and pictures up,your kids,LIKE MINE WILL BE IN TEARS UPON ARRIVAL!

Okay, so it was cheapish and that was good. I was informed that I got the very last room. A/C didn't A/C all that well. The room reeked. It took me a long time to figure out the smell ass the sticky icky devils weed. Someone had a great time in this room and it wasn't me. Informed the check out guy about it and he said that wasn't good. No refund out reduced price. I wouldn't recommend.

If I could give this place no stars I would. Aside from the fact that the three nights we stayed there we had to move rooms multiples times due to water issues, the maintenance guy was asking me to get him cocaine heroin and ecstasy... while my wife was standing right there with our 3 month old son. Not a good place at all and would never recommend it to anyone. And any good hotel manager or owner would at least refund a little bit of the three hundred dollars we paid for it but we weren’t offered anything not even and apology
